Archery Courses
In accordance with the team aim, every semester Archery Courses are opened for METU Students.
Also;
- The money gained from the courses is used to buy new equipment.
- Archers trained in the courses represent METU in various events as METU Archery Team.
Courses are given in Sports Center (new sports building, across Tübitak).
All equipment used in the courses are provided by the team.
There are two types of courses; Beginning Archery and Advancing in Archery.
Beginning archery course is open to everyone. No archery knowledge is needed. At the end of the course you'll learn how to shoot properly.
Advancing in Archery course is only open for the ones succesfully finishing the beginning course. In this course some advanced features are covered.
The fees and course lengths are the same for both courses.
Course lengths have been changed from 3 weeks to 4 weeks! (Two days in a week, every day 2 hours of class, totally 16 hours of class.)

Team Courses Schedule
A new Archery Course is starting on 8th of July 2005!
This course will be a combination of beginning and advancing archery courses. Course will be held during summer school! So that students attending summer school are not bored in summer school time.
The course features are as follows:
- Course starts on 8th July Friday, schedule will be determined at that day.
- Lasts 5 weeks, 30 hours. Last course day will be at the end of summer school. (Likely to be 12 August)
- At the end of the course you will be allowed to be a member
- Fees are to be paid before the second course day! You can just come and attend to first day of course. It will be like a meeting! (8th July) |

How to Enroll for the Course?
Fees are determined by the Directorate of Sports as follows:
METU Students (Undergraduate, Master's, PhD): 75 YTL
METU Personnel: 100 YTL
METU Graduate: 150 YTL
Guests: 250 YTL
Please pay the fee to İş Bank 4229 - 0859295; give your name and pay the fee for Archery Course! And take following to Big Gym Office 1!
Required:
METU Students: Student ID card photocopy + 1 photo + bank receipt
METU Personnel: Personnel ID card photocopy + 1 photo + bank receipt
METU Graduates: Diploma photocopy + 1 photo + bank receipt
Guests: Personel Identity Card photocopy + 1 photo + bank receipt
