METU's 50. anniversary celebrations included an archery championship on 15th of April 2006 at METU Stadium. Both METU Archery Men Team and Women Team became 2nd.

MILITARY ACADEMY ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP
In the 107. anniversary of Atatürk's entrance to Military Academy on 11th of March an archery championship was held. One of our team's member Saba Zaheer became 3rd and awarded a medal in olympic women archery category.
